You can now watch Alycia’s scene from the premiere of Season 4 in our video gallery!
Sorry about the delay, Alycia only appeared at the end of the episode so there’s only a few caps and sadly they aren’t the best quality. If I find a better video I will definitely update them. Also added screencaps from Talking Dead and Inside Episode 401. You can also see 2 clips from the next Episode below.
Fear The Walking Dead > Season 4 > Episode 1 “What’s Your Story?”
Alycia is currently in Tokyo, Japan filming for the movie “The Earthquake Bird” which also stars Alicia Vikander and Riley Keough. According to Imdb.com the film is about “A young ex-pat living in Tokyo is suspected of murder, which uncovers a mysterious love triangle.”
Fear the Walking Dead’s Alycia Debnam-Carey has offered yet more hints that the fourth season will include time jumps.
There has been speculation that the timeline for upcoming episodes will catch up with parent series The Walking Dead, thus explaining how Lennie James can make the jump between the two shows as Morgan Jones.
Alycia Debnam-Carey told Digital Spy during a recent set visit in Austin, Texas that there will definitely be shifting timelines in new episodes, giving her a chance to explore different sides of her character Alicia.
“I can’t go into too much but there is an exciting element of this season, in particular in the first half, where we play a lot with time so you get to see Alicia in very different points of who she is as a character and then in time and they’re very, very different, they’re filmed very differently, they look very different and they’re filmed really differently and they look different,” she explained.
“That’s really exciting. It’s something I’ve never seen attempted in any of the Walking Dead universes but even really on any other TV show at the moment. There are also a lot of dramatic changes happening for her, she’s growing and learning. I think we’ve seen her become somewhat of an apocalyptic badass, she’s able to handle herself pretty well now but these steps it up to a whole other level.”
Alycia wouldn’t go into specific detail about the changes that viewers will see in Alicia, but did tip a creative shift that she says she’s been pushing for.
“Ever since beginning this show I have always had the role of a young teenage girl,” she said. “I believe you can do a lot with that if you put it out there, say what you want, ask for things, ask for different material, be invested and be an active member of this show. I was quite active in asking what I wanted and what I like as they listened and they’re receptive to it.
“My favourite thing about the time jump on the show is that you have a specific change that can happen for your character. One of the hardest things about this show is that it moves slowly and in such minute terms, it’s always about the detail. With the time jump it’s fun because you can have a specific change, whether that comes from the writers or from a character’s perspective you have the license to do it, even if you want just to cut off your hair.”
Fear the Walking Dead returns to AMC in the US on Sunday, April 15 at 10/9c. The new season begins Monday, April 23 at 9pm on AMC on BT TV in the UK.

Fear the Walking Dead is primed and ready to unleash a brand new season which ComicBook.com has an exclusive preview for.
In the video above, new footage from the upcoming Season Four of Fear the Walking Dead is paired with insight from the show’s cast and crew, both new and returning. “Season 4 of Fear the Walking dead is going to pick up in an unexpected place,” new Fear the Walking Dead co-showrunner Andrew Chambliss said. “Mostly, I would say that this season is about a journey toward hope.”
“Part of what the season is about is the journey that got them to this new place and how they found their way back to each other and what that journey was like and where they’ve found themselves now,” co-showrunner Ian Goldberg added.
Chief among the new faces coming to Season Four is Lennie James as Morgan Jones, a character The Walking Dead fans have known for eight years. “The crossover character is one of my favorites from The Walking Dead,” Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said. “Morgan has always been capable of being a stone cold killer but he also is capable of adopting a peaceful philosophy of non-violence so it will be interesting to see which of these personalities he brings to the crossover.”
“All of the speculation about how and when Morgan arrives and what the impact he’s gonna have on the existing characters, pretty much everybody’s got it wrong. Surprisingly, we’ve kept the secret,” James said. “It’s a very new experience for all of us.”
As the characters are introduced and revisited, the world of Fear the Walking Dead has changed significantly by comparison to the Season Three finale. “When you are building a new civilization, there are new people, new complications,” Victor Strand actor Colman Domingo said. “The world is gonna continue to grow and it’s gonna continue to fall apart.”

The cast of Fear the Walking Dead will descend upon WonderCon 2018 in Anaheim on March 24 ahead of the highly anticipated season 4 premiere.
Fear the Walking Dead returns for its fourth season on April 15, but the cast and crew will be in Anaheim on March 24 to talk about the new season and what fans can expect. That’s right, Fear the Walking Dead is heading to WonderCon 2018 and this will be one of the first times we get to see the newest cast members together with show veterans.
Talking Dead’s Chris Hardwick will be at the Arena inside the Anaheim Convention Center to moderate a panel featuring Kim Dickens, Colman Domingo, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Danay Garcia. In addition to these veterans we’ll have the crossover man himself, Lennie James, along with newcomers Jenna Elfman, Garret Dillahunt and Maggie Grace. New showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg will be there with Scott M. Gimple, making for one power-packed ensemble.
AMC is bringing the Fear the Walking Dead cast to WonderCon along with the cast and crew of Into the Badlands. Both shows will have moderated panel discussions with fans on Saturday, March 24. The Fear the Walking Dead panel is from 3:30-4:30pm, and at this point there is no mention of any autograph sessions with the cast.
One of the best things about WonderCon is that it is widely known as San Diego Comic Con’s little sister. Both are owned and operated by Comic-Con International, but WonderCon is a smaller, more intimate con with only about 60,000 attendees as opposed to SDCC’s 130,000 guests.
Undead Walking will bring you Fear the Walking Dead coverage live from Anaheim on March 24, and be sure to tune in to the season 4 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead on April 15 at 10pm
